Rapid Review: Elemis Rose Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm

So after my previous post where I shared how much I’d fallen in love with the original scent of the Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm, the Rose scented one had a lot to live up to.
For some reason, I told myself that I didn’t like rose-scented things, but I’ve since realised that it’s bullshit and I think I just encountered a dodgy soap in the Christmas section of BHS when I worked there. This is a beautifully gentle scent and doesn’t smell synthetic or jarring either when compared to the original.
Much like the original iteration of the cleanser, it’s a lovely thick product that smooths into skin easily and gently removes all traces of makeup from skin without irritating eyes or skin.
One it’s melted into skin, you add water to emulsify the product and work right into the skin to help support a healthy skin barrier, hydrate and leave skin looking radiant. Easily rinsed, the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm combines both Rose and Mimosa waxes with Elderberry, Starflower and Optimega oils.
My only gripe is that this is never included as a GWP! I have a handful of travel sized jars of the original version but would love a little one for on-the-go.
10/10 This is a brilliant product for both dry skin and easily irritated eyes, I’d always repurchase!
