V Day Beauty Blogger Babes

Updated: Jul 13, 2020

I was lucky enough to snag an invite to Bloggers Who Brunch Scotland’s Valentines Masterclass at Inglot Glasgow.

The hour-long event in Silverburn’s gorgeous store was a great opportunity to meet up with the other blogging babes, and find out a little more about Inglot’s products.

Having followed one of their makeup artists on Instagram for a while, I was aware of the brand but I wasn’t really aware of what they stood for or the quality of their products. It was a nice surprise to find out that their entire range is cruelty free and a large amount of their products are vegan-friendly.

Cruelty-free beauty is a huge deciding factor who to purchase from in the industry. I’m ashamed to say that it’s not something I’m completely up to date and fully informed on but I am making more of a concentrated effort to learn more.

The team were launching their Valentines makeup palettes in two sizes, super cute and handbag friendly and even better – DIY. More on that in a minute.

Each of us in attendance were given an Inglot goody bag with one of their raved-about gel liners, a bottle of their Duraline and a voucher for a one-hour makeup lesson.

The makeup look demonstrated was far above my abilities but I was super impressed, using bold colours and a cut-crease, the look was created in under ten minutes.

I was stuck by the sheer range of Inglot products on offer, from lipsticks, to eyeshadows to powders – there was such a variety to choose from. The really cool thing about their range is their Freedom System, each of the makeup pans are magnetised – so you choose a palette size and create your own product combination.

This is where the new palettes come in, beautifully delicate and in a sleek black or white case, I was gutted to leave them behind!

So from a simple nude palette, to one combining a range of eye colours, a bold lipstick and a blush duo – no matter what you’re looking for, they have it.

I picked up a clear nail lacquer and an end of range JLO pure pigment eyeshadow and honestly – I can’t wait to have an excuse to use it because it’s divine!

I’m super excited to book in for my makeover and see what they can do with my mug!
