Blogmas Day 4 - Etsy Gift Guide

In the fifteen years that Etsy’s been in business it’s allowed small sellers the benefit of a greater reach through its marketplace-style of selling.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of shopping on Etsy before, it’s a perfect blend of eclectic products and personalised items, perfect for that special someone.

Genuinely, it’s one of my favourite places to find new sellers and small businesses, there’s literally something for everyone.

I tend to shop from UK sellers to keep shipping costs down and delivery times slightly shorter though it’s important to note that some items have additional lead times prior to dispatch due to being made to order, so if ordering from an independent creator this is important to bear in mind.

With just 21 days until the Big Day, I’m just wrapping up little bits and pieces, but if you still have gifts to buy then this may be the gift guide for you.

From £39 depending on finish, this custom necklace can come with your choice of name and on the MhohoAndCo Etsy you can choose your font too. There are range of gorgeous products on the store like engraved rings and zodiac necklaces.

This isn’t a store I’d be shopping at for stocking fillers, but each product is more beautiful than the next and is where I’ll be buying my next ring as I’m always on the lookout for quirky bands.

The perfect gift for couples that struggle to either come up with ideas for date night or can never decide what to do. These glass jars with UK birch wood tokens come personalised with fifteen different date ideas and the couples names; they’d also be perfect for Valentines Day or an Anniversary.

You can choose to add ten or twenty additional tokens to add your own ideas for an extra special touch.

This is a super cute gift idea for any wee ones you buy for, especially if you like to involve them in mealtimes and encourage them to help out with meal prep.

I’ll level, they’re quite steep at £31.80, however it’s not the type of gift that goes out of style and they won’t easily size out of it. A great thing about this gift idea is the sheer variety of colourways and patterns available – you could buy these to suit every little one’s personality!

Given this turmoil and upset of this year so far, those with their big day planned for the next couple of years are probably needing a little bit of reassurance.

This personalised planner provides an outline for any bride-to-be and allows everything to be accounted for, from planning what time you’ll wake up on the big day, to how much you’ve budgeted to spend on shoes for each bridesmaid.

The foiled front comes in silver or gold, so can be selected to tie into your brides colour schemes and contains prompts to help with big decisions on the day.

Okay, hear me out! We all know someone whose entire world revolves around their pets – I’m looking at you mum, so why not reflect this in your gifts to them?

These Pet Portraits in a renaissance-style allow you to celebrate your furry friend in a funny way, and whether you opt for a digital print only, or go all out for a canvas, the seller takes a selection of photos of your animal and lovingly recreates them digitally before completing your item.

This definitely isn’t something that everyone will appreciate, but for someone with a decent sense of humour this would make the perfect addition to any home!

This little pack of five soaps would make a lovely stocking filler or secret Santa gift, the solid soap formulation means little packaging waste.

The seller, BeehiveArtsStudio has created artisan washes made from natural ingredients known for nourishing and rejuvenating and plant-based ingredients that lather up to create a full-blown cleansing experience.

The change and transformation in the creation of the soaps is a vital part in the creation of the soaps with the mixing of the oils, butters and essential oils – the active botanicals in the ingredients remain more potent than other methods.

The soaps are made from olive oil infused with calendula flowers, coconut oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, lemon and grapefruit oils.

Beautifully packaged, this exotic scrub would be lovely either in summer as a refreshing shower scent, or in winter as a way to cheer up those dark and dreary evenings.

There isn’t much I can say that the store’s numerous 5* reviews don’t, but the cruelty-free, vegan formula would make for a lovely Christmas gift.

This is such a nice gift for something people can do together, maybe you’re buying for a mum and daughter or you’re looking for something you can do with a sister or friend.

The gift box doesn’t only fit through the letter box for an easily delivery, but it contains a choice of two types of face mask, a headband, application brush, wooden scoop and bamboo mixing bowl.

There’s a choice of two natural clay masks either a ‘detox’ mask with activated charcoal, turmeric and matcha tea, or a ‘gentle hydrating’ mask with organic hibiscus, rose and chamomile.

There’s enough in the package for 8 applications, so perfect for a weekly pamper.

Not sure whether I’m quite on the ball? Why not check out one of Etsy’s gift guides? These ready to ship gifts won’t hang around long though!
